Precision Health Membership

BioLounge operates as a Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice and does not contract with insurance companies. While we can act as your primary care provider clinically, we cannot be listed as your in-network PCP for insurance purposes. That said, we routinely coordinate with specialists and insurance-based services on your behalf.

Yes. If you enroll in a BioLounge precision health membership, BioLounge can serve as your medical home for preventive care, chronic disease management, prescriptions, and care coordination. However, because we do not provide acute or urgent care, so members should maintain access to urgent care or an external primary care provider for emergencies or after-hours needs.

No. BioLounge Precision Primary Care memberships are self-pay and are not billed to insurance. This model allows for longer visits, same- or next-day access, and deeply personalized care without insurance restrictions.

The membership fee itself is not covered by insurance. However, many services ordered through insurance—such as imaging, specialist visits, and some lab work—may still be covered by your plan when performed outside of BioLounge. We are happy to provide documentation to support reimbursement when applicable.

Yes. Monthly payment options are available for both membership tiers. Please contact our front desk to discuss payment plans and enrollment logistics.

Yes. Existing BioLounge patients—including those enrolled in weight loss, hormone, or functional medicine programs—may add a Precision Health membership. It’s important to note that weight loss and hormone memberships do not include precision care services, such as referrals, routine screenings, or medication management outside their defined scope. Adding Precision Health provides full continuity and expanded medical oversight.

Precision Health memberships include:

• A 90-minute comprehensive annual physical (see details below)
• Advanced lab panel and detailed lab review
• Preventive screening management (mammograms, colonoscopies, DEXA, etc.)
• Prescription management and medication review
• Chronic disease management
• Referrals and specialist coordination
• Same- or next-day visits for time-sensitive medical concerns such as illness
• Direct messaging access through our secure portal
• Unlimited InBody assessments
• Hyatt Strength & Wellness's "Fitness at your Fingertips," a strength-based program via app with live weekly support
• 10% off all additional testing, supplements, classes and services

Precision Health Plus memberships include all the above plus:

• Unlimited nutrition visits
• Health coaching and lifestyle support
• Annual CIMT (carotid intima-media thickness)
• Expanded cardiovascular and longevity screening

This is not a rushed appointment—it’s a 90-minute, whole-body assessment designed to uncover early dysfunction and optimize long-term performance. It includes:

Medical history and lifestyle review

• Full personal and family history
• Detailed symptom review
• Nutrition, sleep, stress, exercise, and environmental exposures
• Medication and supplement review
• Mental health and cognitive screening

Physical examination

• Vitals, body composition, neurological screening
• Head-to-toe physical exam
• Age-appropriate reproductive, vision, and hearing exams

Advanced functional lab testing

• Inflammation, metabolic health, cardiovascular risk
• Thyroid, hormone, and nutrient status
• Blood sugar regulation and insulin resistance
• Liver, kidney, and immune function

Preventive and functional testing (discounted)

• Microbiome and stool testing
• Toxin and he avy metal screening (if indicated)
• Genetic and epigenetic testing
• Bone density, cancer, and advanced cardiac screening

BioLounge Precision health memberships do not provide:

• Emergency or urgent care
• Injury care (fractures, stitches, wound care, burns, bites, sprains)
• Diagnostic imaging (X-ray, CT, MRI)
• Hospital-based or after-hours care
• Workers’ compensation or disability evaluations
• Management of controlled substances (opioids, benzodiazepines, antipsychotics)
